I've only discovered her recently, thanks to some interviews, and just started "A Better Life". The only other one I've read (so far) is "Should we Stay or Should We Go", which I highly recommend. Thanks for the recommendation.
I’ve gotten the feeling that Lionel models her heroines on herself. Fascinating writer. Characters not always sugary, but the crispness of the writing makes it all worthwhile.
I just finished A Better Life. So well written. Terrific story line that echoes what might happen unless we wake up from the stupidity of what’s happening with the immigration crisis.

I loved Should We Stay or Should We Go. That's when my obsession started.
One of my recent favorites. Pitch perfect review of a deeply-layered book. Thank you.

'We need to talk about Kevin' is one of the best books I've ever read. The movie adaptation was not great unfortunately :(
I’m not a fan of Swinton

That is my next read!
She just had one come out called A Better Life! It was pretty great.
Yes I'm gonna get that one!
