What I see in Natasha Cloud is the over-identification with the TQ after she "came out" as bisexual. These are the category of lesbians (I've only seen the public relationships with women) who cling to the fear that calling out the TQ for their assaults on reality would be detrimental for gays and lesbians. They jump to the conclusion, promoted in MSM, that anyone questioning males who say they're female must be a far right nutcase who is going to go after same sex attracted people. What they miss is the fact that trans identification is a social contagion and many detransition after permanently damaging their bodies. Cloud is brainwashed, captured and indoctrinated.
TQ+ activists are actively homophobic in centring "gender" as a basis for attraction and identification, rather than sex and sexuality. But many lesbians and gay men have been indoctrinated into queering categories, like Natasha Cloud, so that they believe the guff that transgenderism is a coherent community (and a vulnerable minority group in need of protection). It's bizarre to see a young woman aggressively squaring up to a paying customer (wearing a T-shirt with an innocuous* definition complemented by his truly humungous wingspan) being hailed as some sort of defender of the league, in some quarters. This is the kind of groupthink that prevails amongst those traducing Sophie Cunningham for starting a "culture war":
"If the WNBA is going to sustain itself and bring in more genuine fans (as opposed to people solely interested in the league because they want to make a political point), it will need to address all of this in some meaningful way. The bond it has built with many of the LGBTQ fans who have helped sustain and build the league is being torched, with the help of one of its own players. And now outside agitators have joined the party."

What objective test could be given to Enes Kanter to prove that he's faking that could be given to William "Lia" Thomas or Abraham "AB" Hernandez or Callum "Hannah" Mouncey to prove they aren't?
You said it yourself. The league is selling out the stands thanks to the controversy. So it stands to logic that if fans stop buying tickets, perhaps the league will reconsider their stance. Corporations all run on their bottom line.
At this point I think they’re just a selfish bunch of women freeloading on the NBA so they can have the lifestyle they want playing ball, getting a good salary, and hanging out with each other. Fans don’t matter. Sponsors matter only if they get individual endorsement contracts. The NBA won’t terminate the league because there’ll be accusations of sexism. They can rest on their laurels and tell the rest of the world to F off with no repercussions.

Their ticket sales were anemic before. They don’t care about sales or profits. The NBA heavily subsidizes them.
