A HUGE WIN! Kudos to ALL who have been fighting for this return to sanity for women's sports for years! ICONS and many others like you Jen and XX-XY Athletics have been standing strong to recognize that women deserve fairness!

Every organization in that icj group should be listed as frauds.

This is fantastic news! Thanks for sharing all these details regarding the opposition group arguments and tactics. While I understand the disappointment of the decision not being retroactive I believe this is for the best. This creates a clean break and new starting point and we can all put our focus forward. There has been so much animosity regarding this issue and a look-back policy creates unnecessary fodder for opponents. “So-and-so was just following the rules!” Etc.

Easy to "put focus forward" when it wasn't you who got fucked over.

The look-back policy isn't fodder at all except to those being dishonest. It would be perfectly just. The key is punishing the culpable parties and making the victims as whole as possible. The committees and their ruling bloodline masters should be made to fork over all the the money and hook up all the endorsements the winners would have gotten if the games had been fair. With INTEREST.

They need to give the medals/winnings/titles to the women who would have acquired them had the men not been there.

These scumbags don't get to destroy the integrity of the Olympics to the detriment of female competitors and then eventually say "Ah well, it's water under the bridge, let's move on!11" That's abuser-minded bullshit.

Well, another mile on a very long road. Slowly common sense is reasserting itself but we still have a long way to go. Expect more extreme violence from men whose sexual pleasure requires the eradication of women since this is a huge blow to them.

It's so hard to believe this has been such a contested issue. The fact that it only goes one way says it all. This fear of being called transphobic is so extreme that it overrode women's rights. I think this is a huge win and others will follow suit. Thank you for speaking up!

If wanting to stick up for female athletes makes me transphobic, I'll gladly wear the label.

Score one for common sense!

Yes, indeed, a win. An important win!

A bit of common sense in a world swirling in confusion.

This is a big win, but there is much more to be done.

Finally. Ridiculous this was even an issue for 30 years. I feel bad for all the female athletes who were demoted or excluded during that time.

Thank heavens commonsense prevailed! So happy to see this news today. Still much more to do, but this is great news.

Nice, now remember 1) you can't heal toxic, 2) you can't fix stupid. Men cannot be women, women cannot be men. stop pretending. Men pounding on women in a ring, called sport is still domestic ause!!

That IOC will allow cheating men to keep the medals they stole from women is a disgrace. At least their sex-testing policy will (hopefully) prevent this from happening again.
