They don't like to test for gender, but they sure do love to test for political purity...

Rapinoe is not famous because she is intelligent…

Christopher Blum's avatar

So true. But, on the other hand, she's always been famous for being very surly and obnoxious.

Excellent article, dissecting Rapinoe's ludicrous assertions. Listen, I'm a 67yo Black lesbian lifelong runner, active in the late 90s early 2000s LGB community, gay marriage passed, then onward career. Woke up 2019ish to all the gender ideology harms and how it captured the minds of so many Americans (no one in my circles), especially women brainwashed against their own best interests. It is so irrational.

Ute Heggen's avatar

I know so many lesbians who have just had it with the dudes who claim to be one.

NP's avatar

I never got this. As a straight man, there is no way I will ever go with a man (transgender women). I cannot imagine lesbians are any different and I never got why anyone thought it was OK to harass lesbians for not being interested in men (transwomen).

If it weren’t for the women’s category in sport, these two women wouldn’t be household names. Why can’t they see this? They should have a chat with Melissa Bishop.

Curlee's avatar

Logic is not in their vocabulary.

A huge number of teenage boys are far better at playing football than Rapinoe. She should be eternally grateful we have created a special section in the Olympics so that inferior players like her can still achieve fame and fortune.

MarkS's avatar

Yep. Between winning consecutive Women's World Cups in 2015 and 2019, the USWNT lost to an under-15 boys club team in Dallas, 5-2: https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/news/a-dallas-fc-under-15-boys-squad-beat-the-u-s-womens-national-team-in-a-scrimmage

"Trust the science" - unless that science contradicts our political beliefs. Then it's harmful, junk science, Trump's fault, misogynistic....

Mia Ybarra's avatar

When the facts don't add up they say "Its complicated" and accuse whoever they are talking to of having a grade school level understanding of biology

Sandy's avatar

And it honestly isn’t complicated. XX. XY. The variants of that pattern are vanishingly rare, and usually not mentally or physically capable of performing as an elite athlete.

Mia Ybarra's avatar

The difference between male and female is huge and there are many.

Although, yes, xx or xy are definitive

I was reading a post on Reddit by “trans lesbians” and it was just 🤮. Everyone who is demanding women be “inclusive” should browse those pages. These men are nuts and threatening and make constant mention of forcing women to accept them into womens spaces.

They feel completely justified in demanding we accept them as women and mock all the reasons we don't as meaningless.

Sandy's avatar

Terrifying. How many women and girls have to be assaulted before this stops.

MMP's avatar

Has anyone ever pushed Rapinoe and Bird to prove the “science” behind their claims? They would be absolutely unable to do it. Hopefully the three people that listen to their podcast wisen up.

MarkS's avatar

Alas, this is not true. It's easy to find expert biologists who are acolytes of the transqueer cult and who will cheerfully provide the "science" that they say backs up transqueer claims. Of course it's not actually science, but they know how to make it look like it is, eg,

https://socgen.ucla.edu/2015/03/01/challenging-gender-identity-biologists-say-gender-expands-across-a-spectrum-rather-than-simply-boy-and-girl/

MMP's avatar

Yes but the progressives play word games. Gender is not “sex”. Thats why they get away with their “science”.

Terri's avatar

You can’t fix stupid, but you can prevent them making the laws.

MarkS's avatar

Yes, by voting for Republicans. EVERY Democrat in office, or running for office, is either an acolyte of the transqueer cult, or too fearful of the transqueer cult to challenge it.

Ute Heggen's avatar

I just read a list of possible Dem candidates for the White House in 2028, and they are all cuckoo and none terribly successful in the political career they carved out so far. AOC's district is a mess, Californians are leaving in droves and Kamala Harris is sounding more and more like her running mate.

Lance S's avatar

People are leaving New York as well. 2nd only to CA in terms of raw numbers, highest rate of population loss to other states.

Your last sentence kinda says it all...

Amy Reece's avatar

Right? Sometimes this is so exhausting.

Lisa Simeone's avatar

OMG, these women who are shitting all over other women. It’s unbelievable.

Mary Hartman's avatar

Yup. The stench is everywhere. It's not even that they're shitting all over other women but that they're so dumb that they do not know that men can't be women. That level of stupidity is mind boggling. Presenting/pretending and BEING are two different things.

An excellent piece where you took down washed has-beens Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird who clearly have no clue what they’re talking about, Jen! 👏👏👏 They made absolute fools of themselves on their podcast which I’ve never even heard of and two people probably listen to. This has nothing to do with the right-wing or President Trump nor with hate. This is about protecting women and ensuring fairness for them in sports. The IOC was absolutely right to do what they did! Yes, sex is that “clean” it is binary and the existence of non-binary and intersex individuals does not disprove this. They are merely outliers not proof of more than two genders. There are two male and female. Period. End of story. Two multi-millionaires whining about this rule is the ultimate example of first world problems.

Transgender people are biological males. This is a fact that can’t be refuted. Rapinoe claims this isn’t based on science. But she never specifies what science proves it’s not. This is because she has none just empty emotions and feelings. I also have no idea what they’re going on about when they bring up gay marriage. There is a big difference between those two issues. One is a matter of civil rights, one is a matter of biology. Guess what? The Olympics can create a third category for Trans and other gender non-conforming athletes so they can still compete. No one is banning them and the IOC I’m sure could find a way to accommodate them. They just can’t compete against biological women. I agree with the IOC’s decision but I am NOT anti-Trans nor do I hate anyone. I’m all for civil rights for Trans people and anti-discrimination protections for them. I’m all them identifying as they are on their IDs. But we need to be practical here. At the end of the day, you can indeed change someone’s gender presentation and pronouns and that’s their right to live how they want, but you can NOT change their biological sex!

Sandy's avatar

Or…they can compete in the men’s category, where they belong.

Jill Feldbaum's avatar

I just don’t get it. Pretty simple biology. You don’t have to take a course to understand the biology but you can be stupid and not accept the actual biological evidence of female vs male.

They're not stupid, they're acolytes of a new religion. Catholics believe that the consecrated communion wafer is literally the "body of Christ". It doesn't matter than a chemical analysis would show this is not true. Believing that (or professing to believe it) is a social action designed to prove loyalty to the community. "Trans women are women" is that kind of belief for the transqueer cult.

Well said!

Here's something I think you and your readers will appreciate:

https://www.restoringthewest.com/p/equality-is-not-sameness-yet-popular

"As Olympic sport begins to admit the reality of biological difference, Hollywood continues to promote a fantasy that men and women are physically interchangeable...The argument: The West must recover a truthful understanding of equality; one that affirms equal dignity while acknowledging real biological differences between men and women."...

Ute Heggen's avatar

Yups. I'm leaving my small town 2 hours north of NYC, because this town is living on money from Peter Buffett, a Warren offspring, and they fund an oversized LGBT+ center along with a bunch of untalented artists and ne'er do wells. The town is not Woodstock, but it's becoming a magnet for these sex rejecting, psychiatrically ill people, and as a trans widow who divorced my husband after discovering his crossdressing diaries, I can't stand this level of saturation. I can spot these dudes 3 blocks away. They are in conflict with a body that will never morph the way they want. They are crabby and I estimate that about 25% of them are very close to violence most of the time. If they want my fibroid surgeries, they're significantly off balance.

Brian M's avatar

I have often thought Megan Rapinoe might be a trans. Was she ever tested for XY? Her anti-woman stance on female athletics suggests she has an ulterior motive

Nicole Geller's avatar

You hit the nail on the head. Blind loyalty to the Democrat party has, for decades, led women to abandon critical thinking and against their own interests. Rapinoe and her wife are the worst kind of hypocrites. Now that they have made their own millions courtesy the protection and elevation of women’s sports, they can luxuriate in delusions that win favor in deranged society.
