One point that should be noted what Cunningham is accomplishing from a team perspective. By becoming the lighting rod she is taking a ton of pressure off of Clark. irrespective of the political implications she has allowed her teammate to avoid distraction
Wish i knew why all the teams and management seem to be united in their quest to only push the trans issue. It seems possible that at least one of the team owners/ managers could be conservative or not believe in the trans movement. Or all they all woke?
It's larger than just this league—it's sports around the world as well as NGOs and political parties. About ten years ago it was decided that these organizations would all start pushing this notion that "gender identity" overrode sex and therefore men could push women out of female-only spaces—you'll notice if you think about it that these issues weren't put up to a vote, they just started happening. The athletic association, and I use that term tongue in cheek, is an over the water plank on a sinking ship. Perhaps the league should recast its name. WLNBA. Woke Lesbians. I love Sophia Cunningham and what she represents. And I love you and your company, Jenn, for being truthful with the USA public . Your products are superior as is your leadership and your commitment to keeping women's team athletics for women only.
I think no institution actually believes in giving "trans "rights" more than lip service. This is the battle you are fighting: truth against posturing. But posturing is the ideological rule. It costs institutions nothing to play liberal pretend.
The sport is dominated by lesbians. That is just the way it is. For whatever reason they have chosen to attack women. It's sick and scary. And it's a damn shame that people like Sophie and Caitlin cannot benefit there because of their skills. But the league is, whether we like it or not, a cancer. And should be ignored. Sophie is a force of nature and will do well no matter what. But for other talented women who just want to use their skills, this league is a disgrace and should be treated like the seepage it has become. Sorry for the rant. These sickos make me crazy.

So, here’s the deal Erin. It stopped being about who they “voted for” after January 6th. Since that day it’s been, at least for me personally, a moral and basic human decency issue. We TERFs come from all over the political spectrum. We don't all agree on everything. We don't have to. We're united in our fight for the rights of women and girls (and, frankly, for boys, too), for the reality and integrity of biological sex. That's enough for us.
