Simone Biles went to the Indiana Fever game on Friday night. She sat courtside. But nothing will divert the momentum towards the protection of women’s sports.
What I'd like to see next from these amazing athletes is some interviews with the young women who detransitioned from the "affirmative care" to further illustrate the tropes in trans world. Girls are hurt both by males taking their spots and trophies, but also by the recruitment into sex rejecting body modifications. I know that's like expecting me, a 70 year old woman, to go out on the court and land some 3 pointers, but I still want to see girls defended in every way.
I still blame adults pushing the trans ideology on BOTH boys and girls, not just girls. While yes, we want to protect girls, not every boy who claims trans is doing so because of misogyny or a bruised ego because he can’t compete against other male athletes.

As much as I like Biles and supported her when she stepped away to address her mental health, I can’t help but think she may have been under pressure by sponsors or influencers to “change her tune” about only biological women in women’s sports
If only we could get more TERFs to concentrate on electing more Todd Rokitas instead of pleading (fruitlessly so far) with the Letitia Jamess, women would be so much better off.
I think it's past time some of the bigger name male athletes across sports are asked about this issue directly. A very popular NFL QB has an openly LGBT girlfriend (great!) but unfortunately, she’s in the 20% that not only supports it but reposts things saying anyone who doesn’t feel that way should “STFU” about it. Does he agree with that? I’d love to know!
While public opinion hasn't changed on whether males should play in women's sports, I do feel like the WNBA is "winning" the media cycle, and not necessarily anything to do with failure or success of using Biles. It's just that without another development in the "plot," the media is maybe not pulling the numbers they were on this story, and God knows the WNBA is hoping everyone will get bored and move on before they have to make any declarations.
