Tik Tok runs ads for double mastectomies for young people with gender dysphoria
And Dr. Varma the covid sex party guy just needed to "blow off steam."
Yesterday, I discovered that on Tik Tok, sponsored content (i.e. advertising) for surgically mutilating the bodies of minors is allowed and promoted (in their For You feed, which generates broad reach), while an ad called “Stand Up,” for my brand XX-XY Athletics, is not.
Our ad is an encouragement to young girls and women to stand up for the protection of their sports and spaces. But was deemed “hate speech” by Tik Tok and got us banned.
Here’s the ad, that got us permanently “suspended” as they like to call it:
Here’s a summary of the whole situation, with my take:
I don’t even know what to say anymore, the world makes so little sense.
And then, even after it realigns itself, and starts to make sense again, there is no redemption for those who were correct all along. And no punishment for those who got it all wrong.
I mean have you been following the story about Dr. Varma, the covid doctor setting the lockdown rules for NYC, advising Mayor DeBlasio, keeping public school children out of school for over a year and shutting small businesses, forcing elderly people to die scared and alone in the hospital all while he was attending drug-fueled sex parties?
Whatever you think of Steven Crowder the guy who got all of this on tape — and the guy is a misogynistic wife abuser for sure — this video is real and is being covered as real by all the mainstream outlets. Here’s the video:
Now, some mainstream outlets like The Atlantic tried to excuse his behavior with their original headline saying that his actions made him “relatable.” But even they thought better of that absurd positioning of Varma’s hypocrisy and changed the sub-header, stealthily, later.
Varma had “to blow off steam,” you know? Because it was so hard to be alone and isolated all the time! Yeah we know! But people followed this guy’s guidance — businesses went under, kids fell into deep depression, addicts couldn’t attend AA meetings and started drinking again, deaths from despair skyrocketed — while this asshole took molly and had sex with 12 of his best friends in a hotel room. Because sometimes you just need to hang out naked with 12 of your friends.
I mean, what the actual fuck? Clearly he wasn’t that worried about getting covid. But he was willing to ruin New Yorkers’ lives while breaking the rules — not living with the impacts of the policies he was insisting were necessary — and elevating his own profile as a serious covid advisor to the mayor. I mean, there are no words for what an asshole this guy is.
I’m left ineloquent in my rage.
Am I redeemed? Do I get to go back to a cushy job in corporate America (I know I’m busy with something else, but you know what I mean!) Is this guy fired? Can Varma please never get another job again!?????? EVER!
Back to Tik Tok . . . I am 100% certain that one day in the not too distant future these types of “gender affirming” surgeries on minors will be considered a major medical scandal along with recovered memory, lobotomies, the use of Thalidomide, and the overprescription of opioids (they were non-addictive, right?). And I’ll throw in covid lockdowns for good measure, just to tie it all together.
But who will be punished and who of those banished from polite society will be redeemed for sounding the alarm? (And I acknowledge many came well before me on the issue of “gender affirming care.” So I’m not talking about me, here.)
Sadly, many young people will be harmed between now and then. But I believe that this ends when enough young people de-transition and that group becomes simply too big to ignore and dismiss. A horrific way to come to the collective realization that has been so obvious all along to anyone not swept up in cult-like thinking.
and like all those other medical travesties the innocent tax payer will have to suffer when the lawsuit awards go into the million and they pass on to us in higher medical care costs.
It's horrifying, honestly. On a related matter, a nutrition publication to which I've subscribed for years, referred multiple times to the vitamin requirements for "pregnant people." The writers can't bring themselves to say pregnant women, even though we all know the truth. Those folks are getting no more of my money! I hope and pray that the acknowledgment of this insanity will come in my lifetime.
