A quick thank you . . .

and happy holidays!

I just wanted to share a quick note of thanks. On December 6 I posted a stack called I’m here to bug you again. It was basically a plea to donate money to the documentary film I’m making called Generation Covid, which documents the harms to children from prolonged school closures.

And I just want to say you all have really come through.

Overall, we’ve raised just over $21k through our Give Send Go.

Some of you joined this Substack as founding subscribers (upon my request) and I’ve sent those thank you books out as promised. I hope you’ve all received them by now. I’ve also put that money into the production fund — into my production company called Sey Everything — as promised. About $1200.

And lastly, one of you wrote me directly and invested $20k in the project!

So all in, this little effort raised about $42k.

So wow. Thank you. I’m immensely grateful and we are working hard to edit the film. And this definitely gets us through the next few months of post-production.
