In these days when kvetching is literally 80% of anything on social media, this joyful post celebrating a happy, harmonious, dare I say normal, marriage and life together, is a blessing. Thank you for this!!

Sweet and real. Such a refreshing thing after so much cynicism in our culture.

Today's youth culture might call you bourgeois. I think it's called real happiness.

During a time in our marriage that I was the "Stay at Home" I was given the title "House Manager" by our daughter. We look back fondly at the times when I picked her up from school, took her to Lacrosse practice, etc. Sounds like your husband deserves that title or better. CHO?

Write when you can, I know you are are up to something good and exciting.

Glad you found a mensch and that you have Shabbat dinner as a family.

My parents have the same marriage as your husband. They are my role models!

The "I don't work for you" bratty comment isn't rare I'm sure. And it shows up in many versions. As a young mom home with 2 sick daughters, I called then-husband to stop for milk at the store (on the street he takes for his ride home). He replied that he worked hard all day and that was my job not his!
