This just about brought me to tears from both the memories of feeling totally alone in my beliefs and to learn now I was NOT nearly as alone as I felt 3 years ago. God bless this writer for sharing her story. I don't read many books these days but I will buy this one. It truly hit home, for me.

Post pandemic, when I hear "Follow the Science" I really hear "Follow the money." What funding are those scientists receiving that influences their statements. And isn't real science fluid and full of old truths being proven wrong? The mass corruption on so many levels is disheartening, but there are voices such as these getting louder. In many ways it is rewarding to see political leanings becoming not as important as the fight against the corrupt power structure.

Can’t wait to read!!!! Just reading this almost makes me want to cry because I was so frustrated at the policies and the shaming and my fellow human beings in WA state. It was SO harmful to the children and so many Next Door app crazies kept saying it’s racist to go back to school and kids are resilient. It affected both my kids tremendously to say the least. My heart can’t forgive it.

I think Alex Berenson originally coined the terms #teamapocalypse and #teamreality before anyone else.

Thank you for this post. Some of the most bizarre features of the US govt. response that stick in my mind are:

* The absurdity of initiating a lockdown *and* facilitating hourly super-spreader events (jet flights across the country). [In the middle of the pandemic I read a mainstream media article indicating flights out of NY were responsible for an estimated 76% of infections in the country. ]

* No, you can't visit that tiny rural bookstore, but you can cram into a Walmart with zillions of other people (and wait in line forever).

* And most shamefully, when the govt convinced people they could not see loved ones (even if they were dying), but made excuses for protestors (and media made excuses for rioters).

Also, there was this oddity:

* Big box stores like Walmart and Target closed alternative entrances, forcing everyone to go in through 1 single entry way, with huge fans blowing on them (for maximum dispersal of the virus, no doubt) /sarc.
