I really admire your husband, and his posts on Twitter were always worth a read.

New York is still banning 400,000 unvaccinated students from extracurricular activities. Most of these students are low-income BIPOC, which Democrats like Hochul claim to care about. She also fired thousands of healthcare workers for not getting boosters, causing staffing shortages. Everything Democrats do hurts women and people of color, yet they still win those voter demographics by large margins. Hochul was never elected and polls indicate that she will win against Zedlin in November. It makes your head and heart hurt. Thank you for taking a real stand and continuing to hold these tyrants accountable. Here is what life in Democrat cities is like: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/how-to-visit-karenland

Holding power to account would be the sweetest victory imaginable. The most disheartening aspect of that process is, their names are legion and their desire to maintain power overwhelming.

I saw you on TV this morning. Keep it up. Hopefully fact based thinking has a place in our country again.

This is another reason why I am a huge supporter of school choice. I lost my marketing job in April of 2020. The public school my two daughters go to opened up in the fall of 2020, but had a staggered start, shortened days, mask mandates, etc. My oldest daughter never got to attend prom. We were lucky there was a graduation ceremony. But after all of that, we pulled our youngest and enrolled her into private school. I wanted full school days and no mask mandates. And I am extremely thankful that we can afford to do this. But I want this choice for everyone. In my children’s generation, we are going to see a huge economic divide. The children who were lucky to go private, and the ones who were held hostage to government mandates.

Still, after all this time, I cannot believe what's happened.

We have been criminalised for wanting to breathe freely without a face mask and criminalised for deciding what goes into our bodies. Demonised for gathering and congregating and ostracised for questioning. All of these things are inalienable human rights. We have been attacked simply for existing.

The political class, the media, the police, big pharma, employers and teachers have waged violence on us. It is not OK.

“Peeling back” every dynamic? Goodness, was the fact that single working mothers had no choice but to stay home and take care of their children, supervise zoom schooling a buried fact? If they were “lucky” they could work remotely while juggling all of the above.

Yes, there were unemployment benefits that kicked in.

Good luck if you had a special needs child. Critically needed speech therapy and other early childhood interventions therapies? Nope

The total disregard for woman and children during this “pandemic” that had a 98% survival rate is just a friendly reminder that we are still second class citizens and children should be seen and not heard.

The big new bill that was ceremoniously passed struck out any funding for day care just FYI. Family leave as well. Don’t forget.

The isolation of our children during this pandemic has been an egregious mistake. I remember speaking with a new client and he stated his daughter was turning 12 and was ecstatic as she could then get vaccinated and finally be able to see her friends. What did we allow to happen here? Fear is a very powerful tool.

As a New Yorker I am deeply saddened and discouraged by what has transpired here. Furious a better adjective.

I had read that Kathy Hochul mentioned in a closed meeting that she was going to mandate the vaccine for all school age children after the election. Her Thanksgiving announcement. Let’s hope that’s not true. If my children were still school age I would be moving to another state.

It’s stunning how our elected officials, news media, CDC etc have absolutely no remorse about these failed and harmful policies. Their denial and lack of accountability is breathtaking.

In reality they should be put on trial.

The shaming, discrediting, demonizing of those who spoke out about school closures, vaccine mandates is sobering at best. Frightening. Beware, these are dangerous times. Our personal freedoms are hanging on a precipice.

It's like Post WW2 in Europe, where tens of thousands of Nazi collaborators in so many countries (including Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, even Poland) lied, ran and hid from all light and truth once the Nazis were finally defeated. Some were tried and held accountable, but many thousands fled and pretended they were on the "right side" all along. Everyone who blindly complied is complicit. Those who targeted the resistors, shamed us, fired us, ostracized us and attacked us verbally and socially, all in the name of "science" they neither knew or tried to understand...they need to be called to account. Never forget!

One of the problems is that you can't, in righteous fury, simply vote everyone out. So many of the people imposing policies were never elected.

Our children MUST take the day, nothing shorter! When we count everything our children have sacrificed during 29 months of failed COVID policy, it must bring about something greater than satisfying the egos and power lusts of adults, and filling the pockets of some with gold.

I expect to die waiting for anyone to take responsibility. Colleges are still mandating jabs and boosters, despite the lack of evidence that they are doing anything useful for that age group. I was called selfish and uncaring because I wanted my kid to participate in fall sports in 2020, while in remote “school”, because I knew the cancellation of his season would result in terrible mental health outcomes for him and his teammates. The damage is still being inflicted on kids around the country. Too many people are still in the grip of the mass psychosis.

Hi New York! California native here - you can do something like what Californians did - perk-group.com.

Once the "elites" do it to you - that gives them the "approval" to do it again. And over and over.

FIGHT BACK.

Growing up in Palo Alto I was surrounded by people who received wisdom and could not imagine the world could work differently than they were told yet called themselves open minded because they supported gays, bisexuals, opposed oil, opposed war. It was disappointing and frustrating but not surprising that so many were willing to be led to follow such inimical and destructive policies simply because the people they believed were 'good' were advocating it. "If the teacher's union supports keeping schools closed, we must respect their perspective, who cares what Florida does..."

On May 5, 2020 Denis Prager published an article calling lockdowns the greatest mistake in human history. At the time, I thought "wow, Denis ... that's really out there". But, of course, he was right.
