As an elderly curmudgeon who helped raise children and then grandchildren, I can assure you there is a direct correlation to how much your offspring weigh and how much it hurts when they hug you with what certainly looks like love in your profile photo.

I read your original essay about leaving Levi. Your stance on Covid and closing schools was shared by millions of parents and grandparents. We are only now coming to understand the harm done to our offspring due to what I call an epidemic of fear promoted by certain segments of our governments and our society.

I shall look forward to more of your contributions, Jennifer.

We need more Jennifer Sey's and less Larry Fink's in the world these days. BlackRock's Fink jets off to Davos in his carbon-spewing jet to brag about his company's commitment to its virtue signaling ESG scam by committing a cool $1BB shiny object so as to distract from the massive SEC fines (which never go back to the taxpayer, btw!--simply Google "BlackRock SEC fines") and $1.7TT in losses [https://www.investing.com/news/cryptocurrency-news/the-worlds-largest-asset-manager-blackrock-lost-17-trillion-in-first-six-months-of-2022-2850810] for its clients in the first six months of this year. Being a Woke-ster like Larry Fink is the best example of the "shiniest of objects" shaker out there these days. Happy to see Jennifer come clean and leave a cushy position. And she did it all for her kids, no less! Can't wait for her book to arrive. Vivek Ramaswamy's Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America's Social Justice Scam was a great read but, seeing Jennifer's writing style up front through my Substack subscription with her, guarantees a home run for me. Ooops! Gotta go throw my Levi's "Wokes" in the dryer!

Great article! Heard you on Trish Wood is Critical podcast couple months back and admire your determination and convictions. Far better example to young women than staying silent, taking the money. Looking forward to your book and your documentary!

Spot on! It doesn’t help that media hires too many people from upper class Ivy League schools who want to be part of the club whether it be business or politics. There’s not enough adversarial relationships with the powerful, but an enforcement of their preferred narratives. Cancel those who stray or push back and scare the rest into silence and apathy.

Can’t tell you how refreshing and important your voice is in unmasking their phoniness!

I was vaguely aware of your situation, aware enough to no longer be a Levi's customer but not really aware much more since taking care of my family financially during the pandemic (my wife lost her job, my job was stable in a potentially unstable segment) was my priority. I doubt my $7 a month subscription will help you much, but it is my little statement of support. Really enjoyed your interview on the Michele Tafoya "YouTube" channel, which is how I found you here. I admire you, your husband, and your marriage very much.

It will take me a while, but I am enjoying what I am reading so far. Keep up the fight.

Thank you for speaking out and being a voice! I heard you on a podcast a few months ago and was so happy to hear someone speaking out about the negative impacts that COVID mandates and school closing caused. As a school based speech language pathologist, sadly I have witnessed first hand what we have done to our youth. I look forward to reading your book!

“I was woke capitalism”.

I’m of the opinion that 95% of “employment” today involves convincing people they need or want something they do not (or otherwise taking people’s money and giving them nothing of value in return (at best). It’s basically inescapable unless one is lucky enough to not have to earn money (but does that make one more “moral” and “true to themselves/living their values”.

Wow! You’re off to the races now!

Just one thought here out of so many…

The backlash to the capricious mortgage lending practices before the crash has left many people now unable to get a home mortgage.

The 20% down, no income verification mortgages are gone. For those who have good credit, but who’s income to debt does not meet the new underwriting criteria.

Those with student loans for example. Those who are capable of successfully paying on time are left in the dust.

Build Back Better rings hollow in my ears.

No funding for Day Care, Elder Home Care or Parental Leave was included in the new stimulus bill either. ALL People Matter. Not just those who can run out and buy an electric car.
