No point in arguing with Ms. Armour. As Thomas Sowell has said: "It is futile to talk facts and analysis with people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance." If you believe in the essential fairness of separating men's and women's sports you simply cannot support transgender women in women's competition. It is a logical and laughable fallacy.

Thank you for speaking out. My daughter is a Nassar survivor and she has spoken at Michigan State on several occasions to put pressure on them to honor settlements. Simone Biles is not someone for girls to look up to. My daughter is strong and she looks up to you. She has followed you since she read Chalked Up all those years ago. Biles may be physically stronger but she has zero strength of character unlike you and Riley Gaines.

Oh I'm so sorry for your daughter that she went through that. I know many of the MSU survivors. Rachael included. Those girls are the heroes. The army of survivors. Thank you for this. Lifted my spirits. I'd love to send your daughter a gift! A t-shirt? Signed? I'll get Riley on it too! DM me!

Simone Biles is a very gifted athlete & deserves all of the awards she has received. Where she has failed is as a role model and she is, intellectually, a nitwit. She should be standing with Riley Gaines to protect the fairness in female sports. This has nothing to do with the treatment of the LGBTQ+ community. But she can't she see beyond her "privileged" perch and the bubble that she lives in. She's "made it", gotten all of her awards, endorsements and money. She just showed how little she cares about all the little girls that look up to her as a role model. She really lacks independent critical thinking. What a shame for one of the most celebrated gymnastic athletes to ever compete.

As for Nancy Armour's article, you can't hate the media enough. This reminds me of a quote I just read, "Some people drink deeply from the well of knowledge. Others just rinse and spit." I don't think Nancy Armour could even find the well!

I cannot believe that Simone Biles is telling us, “Sit down, shut up, and let the boys win. Otherwise you hurt their feelings and that’s just mean.” She may now bite me.

Armour is, in no way, a journalist. She’s the perfect example of why we not only don’t trust the media, but we despise them as well

The mere fact that men believing themselves women say they "identify" as women means they're not women. I don't "identify" as a women; I'm simply a woman. "To identify" means you are not what you "identify" as. Identify means to establish your characteristics and identity. Such men have absolutely no idea what a woman is except a fictional caricature in their minds. That caricature makes them to want pretend to be a woman. Look how many of them adopting female attributes like painted nails and faces flounce around like Scarlet out of "Gone with the Wind." Cringe. That's their idea of a woman. A woman's identity is far more than they can even begin to conceptualize. They know nothing of the psyche of a woman.

Simone Biles was an incredibly gifted gymnast.

Don't particularly care what she has to say about Riley, she'll be wrong.

The fact that she waded into this shows incredible stupidity...

Her voice could have helped speak truth to power but unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to understand the issue at all. Trans females are men. They can change their external appearance and adopt mannerisms they believe make them “women” but they will never be women. Simone Biles needs to feel the injustice of having a man in a sequined leotard beat her in her sport. That’s the only way she’ll acknowledge this injustice. It can’t happen soon enough.

I don’t understand why women are so willing to allow gender appropriation. Are we still under the illusion that we must be “nice” at the expense of ourselves?

I will never understand it either… nor the parents that refuse to stand up for their daughters. Show them what it looks like to stand up for yourself for goodness sake! Utterly weak! My mother, God rest her soul, would’ve been screaming from the rooftops. Part of it is the feckless “Everybody gets a trophy” syndrome🤦‍♀️. Parents, get your act together and model for your children, your daughters, what it looks like to speak up for yourself!

…or that she’s being paid to do what she’s doing. Honestly, when has Simone Biles gave a crap about anyone but herself? She’s as good a salesperson as she is a gymnast.

If girls and parents of female athletes simply boycotted USA Today and Gap, you’d see that money talks louder and more effectively than anything else. Instead the trans and LGBT community uses their purchasing punch much more effectively.

Yet you have difficulty recognizing the hard work female athletes have done and their naturally resulting musculature. Do you really believe any of them care that you prefer womanly curves?!

I was going to write a comment yesterday that Biles’ behavior and statements were all about the money keeping it by saying what she did or losing it if she were brave enough to say the truth but I relented. Sorry I didn’t post my actual feelings yesterday. But now I do! Go Riley and go Jen and all those who have spoken the truth!

If transgenders have no physical advantage how come so many of them are cleaning up on the top placings? It's such a patent lie I can't believe ANYONE believes this B.S. As a matter of fact I wouldn't doubt that most of their so called supporters don't believe it either but are only concerned with their finances.

Had she respectfully said she disagreed with Riley and explained why, I’d disagree most likely but I wouldn’t think less of her. She was petty, mean and immature. She hurt her brand and lost a lot of fans.
