A vocal and punitive minority has cowed everyday citizens into silence. It's time for the common sense majority to speak up or this once great city will be lost.
Jennifer you are an amazing person for what you've been speaking about the last couple years and especially recently. You are helping to save our country.
I've experienced the totalitarian "SF effect" on a personal level. My childhood friend, a close confidant since second grade, gradually took on the role of lecturing me about my divorce from a crossdresser. Like several former friends who read my memoir, In the Curated Woods, True Tales from a Grass Widow, she called me up to say I've mischaracterized my own life. Telling my story of discovering my husband's lies, deceptions and the utter arrogance he took on, as he impersonated me, naming himself the "mother" of our two sons, "was dangerous for that community." The fact that he also ignored our children's safety, resulting in blistering sunburns and a serious eye injury, was "actually" my fault. It's a relief to be done with the "SF effect" and make new friends, who perhaps understand me better than someone whose moral compass is broken.
Thank you for bravely speaking out Jennifer. Your stories and concerns echo what I know so many of us (Americans, humans) feel and have unfortunately also experienced. Keep up your advocacy for critical thinking & rational actions. Charles Froelick, Portland, OR
how a city dies. or more accurately, how a city is murdered

The Left advocates free speech until it achieves power. Always.

Jennifer, your interview on California Insider was excellent. A voice that is so needed right now.
