The latest episode of "Males Winning in Women's Sports"
The San Jose State Women's Volleyball Team, led by a male player who identifies as a woman, is 6-0 this season.
A quick post on the the latest episode of my least favorite show: “Males Winning in Women’s Sports.”
You know that thing that never happens, that just keeps happening? Well, here we go again.
In case you prefer video over reading, here’s my take on the latest.
If you prefer words (I do), here’s my overview:
The San Jose State Women’s Volleyball team, led by a male who identifies as a female named Blaire Fleming, is 6-0 this season. 6 wins. 0 losses.
The worst part (ok maybe not the worst part) is the way that the TV announcers are fawning over Fleming’s “unmatched vertical.” I think we all know why it is “unmatched.” Fleming is male. And males jump higher, they are stronger, bigger, faster. So yeah, Fleming jumps higher than the women on San Jose State and the opposing team.
Recently, Southern Utah pulled out of their match with San Jose State, neither confirming or denying that they pulled out because San Jose has a male player on the women’s team. Why not just say it? C’mon Southern Utah! We need you to REALLY stand up!
Look, it is bad enough that this is happening — that males are taking team berths and wins away from hard working female athletes — but, to hear the announcers fawn all over Fleming as this amazing female athlete is almost too much to bear. I can’t take it.
Now, if you post about this issue on LinkedIn, as we did at XX-XY Athletics, the post will be removed and you will be threatened with restrictions and bans if you keep on saying true things.
Because on LinkedIn, just like on Tik Tok, calling Fleming a biological male is considered “hate speech.” Yes, truth is hate speech.
The language has been so coopted and corrupted that we no longer live in reality. Women are being denied opportunities. Men get to make the men’s teams and the women’s teams! And the sports announcers cheer as if Fleming is a female athlete breaking barriers. I can’t believe that we live here.
The world is so ridiculous.
A man with his genitals removed is just a man without his genitals. It ain't that complicated. Maybe if the women's teams announced why they were pulling out it would inspire more women's teams to pull out. Boycotting this insanity is the only way to put an end to it. People should refuse to watch this crap. Loss of revenue seems to be the only thing they understand.
This is so utterly disgusting, I can barely write a comment on it. All I will say is this: I have two daughters. Both have graduated from college already. They were not athletes like you were. But, I can confidently say I would do everything in y power to discourage them from participating on this team if they were on it. I don’t blame the female teammates who go along, but I don’t see how this crap ends until the woman boycott and force the administration to address it appropriately.
