The last few years, the great triad discussed of government, social/traditional media, and big pharma creates an environment of fear and depression, and offers the solution of drugs and vain "escapism" while the government doubles down on fear. And that they are THE solution? Freedom and love, along with some hard work (lol), are the best solution in my experience but there is not enough profit for the overlords. The sell false self esteem while downplaying achievement that actually brings internal and long lasting gratification.

I also have to point out that the "Twitter Files" have demonstrated clearly that the current situation between the cabals of Washington and San Jose neatly fit the definition of fascism. But anyone who disagrees or points this out is labeled a fascist! The "Big Lies" out there are absolutely amazing and being swallowed too easily by the scared and drugged out populace.

Yes, what we are facing is a new evil. It is the Marxists have joined hands with the closet Nazis and we now have a clear agenda for Global Fascism, as Klaus Schwab calls it, a public-private stakeholders capitalism - he should know he's from a Nazi family. The whole stinking pack of traitors I call them the Global Fascism Alliance, because they come from multiple directions and ideologies, but they all have this in common they want global fascism under their control. And the Democrat habit of calling your opposition what you are, that is a classic Marxist strategy.

"marxist"

"Closest nazi"

how hard you people purposefully use identity terms that disassociate any jewish involvement with the promgulated White genocide promoted by jewish filth

This isn't a "marxist" stratedgy it's a loxist one

"Klaus Schwab" you mean Klaus Rothschild, a ethnically jewish person, not anethnically german person

"he should know he's from a nazi family"

Look at you jewish filth pointing to your own and trying to blame your behavior on "White people"

Disgusting.

the brightest young adults i ever met all confessed to being home schooled, not alone but in small social groups with parents alternating teaching duties or with a teacher hired by the group and therefore not "owned" by the afraid of their own shadow but wanting high pay teacher's union.

this entire thing has been a mess. when will these people be voted out?

can't wait to see your documentary!

Thomas Edison was home schooled. The 2 guys who started Google (and have sadly lost control of it, which is why it's turned evil) were home-schooled. Numerous great achievers were.

And if we go back in time prior to the invention of "school" - which is really just a grooming operation for global capitalism - all great achievers in the west and the east, (I'm thinking China), were self-taught.

Yes, I knew that! Thanks for reminding me. He used to bring his sons into my grandfather’s candy store and my dad’s first job was working in his plant. Dad said he was often on the floor

So much of Covid was wrong… but pretending zoom is school was in the top3.

Virtual school is virtually NO school and no learning.

Pre Covid message to kids = get off those damn screens.

Covid =OK, now stare at a screen for 8 hrs a day

No wonder their heads are spinning.

I agree w you. Kids teens people need REAL interaction, relationships and friendships now more than ever.

Play, talk, go outside together, Laugh, smile…And for gods sake, remove the masks so you can see it all.

I love the line, “Forgive me if I don’t want your help ‘fixing’ the thing you broke.”

Of course elected and unelected personages in govt won’t forgive us: they will re-educate us and if that fails, threaten us with their help.

Maybe I am wrong? Maybe they will listen to Jen and admit that parents are the parties with legal and moral standing to protect and nurture and correct their own children, not unrestrained CPS?

I grew up in a very different time and place with loving and iconoclastic and yes, strict when needed, teachers who drew us out into the best we could be.

If the kind of home schooling that Carolyn describes is the only alternative left to us, let’s embrace it and find a way to give all kids that opportunity.

*Because* the world's a prison camp run for the benefit of the capitalist ruling class (RC).

Emotional distress resulting from chronic fear of poverty and homelessness is an appropriate emotional reaction to barbarity. If someone becomes suicidal because they work two jobs that rob them of energy, the joy of life and of living - jobs that must be worked in order to keep the slum landlord at bay - then they are responding appropriately, logically, intelligently. *This* miserable existence, devoid of hope called 'life' is not for them, and who is anyone to dismiss their intellectual agency?

Cue RC gaslighting machinery that whirs into motion. All such instances of appropriate emotional distress are pathologised and rubber stamped 'mental health issues' - disconnecting their symptoms from their lives and the environment. Discourse shifts towards serotonin levels and medication - to conceal the prison camp.

Give human beings a home and security to build a future on and levels of depression and anxiety will magically reduce. Meanwhile, twenty homeless people die every day in the US.

Government never met a problem it created that it didn't want to solve with...more government.

This is excellent. As a mother from California with 4 school age children, you nailed it. Thank you for also discussing the drugging and diagnosing and also the technology piece. Parents who were cautious about technology have been forced by the schools to have a chromebook issued by the schools (without parental controls) in their homes. Schools are also data mining through technology and surveys. Our kids data seems more important than their learning because the data can justify new policies and programs and direct money where they would like it to go.

I got together with a group of moms during lockdown and we had a secret prom for 200 kids. As they arrived they were hugging each other and so happy. Many of them hadn’t seen each other in a year.

I rarely saw other parents during lockdowns but my teens had braces and when I would take them for their adjustments other parents in the waiting area would all talk about how depressed their teens were. How they were seeing psychologists and psychiatrists and how worried they were.

You are also so correct in your conclusion. They don’t get any more chances. We’re the parents. We will take it from here.

The government couldn't have destroyed a generation worse if they tried. Yet they were not punished at the ballot box or the courts. Just say no to drugs: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/how-to-get-high

Just looking into peoples eyes, if its possible tells a tragic tale. We have been so horribly deceived. We dont know each other and are programmed to hate. We have to reclaim ourselves and help our fellow humans who are falling by the wayside. Its a silent war with silent, unseen technology gnawing upon our brains. We bought into it but we can choose not to support the game anymore with a lot of hard work. Stop supporting the fascists now.

Another piece of this, I can state with authority as a retired Kindergarten teacher, is the overly academic curriculum that got pushed into K classes starting about 20 years ago. This completely altered the purpose of Kindergarten, making it look like grade 1 and a half. First, children had to read at level C by the end of the term, which for record-keeping was mid-May. (we finally played in June, as I packed up the materials for the summer deep clean of the classrooms) Children need to explore and play in authentic ways. In my classroom this meant Pretend Play (formerly Housekeeping Area) was Veterinarian Office, Farmers Market or Space Station. I had no Barbie dolls or ironing boards polluting the environment. Lucy Calkins the Great Charlatan of Literacy (Teachers College, Columbia University) , caused us to cancel recess and block play.

I worked briefly but recently as a school counselor at a 6-12 school, and meeting with kids was by far the best part of the job (kids are still fun, of course, and so many of them just want/need to be seen and heard), but it was impossible not to notice, and so concerning, the sheer number of them who had been "taught" in some way by adults to see a psychological diagnosis (or even a self-diagnosis!) as the most primary aspect of their identity.
