What completely stuns me is that people that advocate for masking little kids are completely ignoring the data from multiple states -- states that haven't masked kids, that have had schools open since the fall of 2020. (And some countries where schools never closed and kids were never masked.) Overwhelming evidence shows that kids can go to school mask-free and not drop-dead or kill their grandparents when they get home. The truth is out there -- but these people are willfully ignoring it. My relatives in California honestly believe that Florida fared much worse than California because CA was "responsible" and Florida wasn't. The numbers don't bare that out. I showed the evidence to said relatives and one said, "Florida is lying about the data" and another said, "If this is true, then it would be on the news." My uncle, 80, said that he doesn't believe anything that doesn't come directly from the CDC. To this day, he refuses to go out for a meal unless he can eat outdoors.

It would be valuable to know how many people are behaving like your uncle. They're the ones who need to be reached somehow, because they're still being misled by their governments.

It breaks my heart. He's a retired English teacher. He's not stupid. But he won't listen to me. Maybe because he still considers me a "kid" (LOL -- I'm 50!) When we had lunch (outside) when I took my mom to visit him in NorCal, he told me about his grandson who was at the University of Oregon who was going to come home for break but wasn't allowed to leave campus without being tested. So he tested, it was positive, and he was forced to stay in a dorm for TWO WEEKS, alone, being fed through a hole in the door. All I said was that I was glad my son, at college in Texas (same age as my cousin) had no restrictions, no mandatory vaccines, and no mandatory testing or masks. And the kids at Texas Tech aren't dropping dead of COVID.

We need to learn lessons from those who've deprogrammed people who were in cults.

It absolutely dumbfounds me to consider how many people among us, who believe themselves astute citizens want to adhere to policies that are inherently harmful to our children. We're being betrayed by ideologists. Thanks for your messaging Jennifer.

Hi Jen, quick comment — I work at Google in Mountain View, and the nonsensical gene therapy mandate is very much in place. Unvaccinated are banned from the office and ridiculed.

“As a condition of employment” based on courts’ stays for federal contractor mandate. Many people who did not choose these shots remain at Google on legally protected accommodations. We are not allowed into the office daily, we can request an exception to be onsite, and then we have to mask and keep 6-feet distance. Ridiculous insanity.

We can request one day or a few days of specific days to be allowed onsite. Fine for more tenured employees, not great for newcomers who miss on learning and opportunities. And the whole theatre of Google insisting that vaccines are the vital tool to prevent new strains and fight Covid… mind-boggling.

Why are these Universities trying to disable and kill their own students? There must be more money in mandating vaccines than tuition.

Maybe it’s time to advocate for more homeschooling instead of trying to get them to do something they’re not going to do. It’s about power and control. The school systems have always been more about the adults than the kids. It is just obvious to more people now. It’s why I homeschooled mine.

Unfortunately we need to push forward for school choice. Parents need the option to take their kids to private schools. Every child gets a voucher they take with them to whatever school they attend. Public schools have become arrogant and inattentive to the families they’re there to serve. Colleges and universities should have their tax exempt status revoked so their bloated endowments can be taxed and their endless cadre of administrators reduced. Introduce market forces into education and watch how a lot of these issues resolve very quickly.
