Well, I for one am here cuz I heard you interviewed on a podcast at some point in the past year and I thought “This Sey woman is a badass and I want to hear more from her!” Speaking truth to power is the bravest form of cool😎
Please send that random idiot this link to the documentary on trans widows, Behind the Looking Glass (Lime Soda Films YouTube). Today at 1pm EST, Marigold's complete story will go out in a live stream. So far, in the film, she outlined her suddenly crossdressing husband's random violence towards their 3 children, his threats of violence when she maintained she's going for full custody and his spiteful reactions to her "hateful" refusal to engage in kink. Dear Lord, these lefty radicals are uninformed! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Frffv2sB8zE
Love this share. I have never been cool, at least in my definition. Kinda on the fringe, a bit of a dork, a little bit Forrest Gump because I have somehow ended up in amazing circumstances.
The closest to cool I ever got was around 2010? Early on, before the cancel culture really took root, I am proud of both my ability to unite both Fundamentalist Christians and Gay Rights Advocates in the singular goal of having me fired from my job for a Facebook post that I had taken both sides of a rhetorical argument. Both sides. Same post.
It was apparently early on in a less toxic time, but was well enough known that the Huffington Post contacted me for an article (the journalist, and they were real journalist back then, enjoyed the entire painful situation I was in) but I declined to comment and it went away. So not your level but upon reflection, pretty cool! Also very proud of my employer who stood by me, although I did have too many meetings with the head of PR etc.

We learn as we mature, Jenn. Each of us follow a path that lead to doors that open for our future growth and stability.
For me, cool never mattered. Actions, not words. You are an action leader. Keep up the good work. Keep walking through those doors.
Late bloomers are cool. People who are cool in high school peak way too early!

"random idiot" hahahah
That IS the best
When I think of the coolest people I know, it is always the people who have the most courage. So, I'd say you seem pretty cool to me.
I met you recently and I think you're very cool! And I love your random musings! Keep them coming!
“Because I don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks of me.” is the key!!

Keep up the good fight! And you are cool.
That’s pretty awesome and cool.
I will say best of all my daughter, working her first real “big girl “ job post college, now thinks I am cool. Nothing better than that.
Proud of her work ethic too.
