Great post!

Tennis is the only sport I watch on TV.

Love Aryna, and her attitude, sadly missing from some of her competitors.

I have my PVR set, and will get up at 4:00 AM EST to watch live.

Aryna and Jason have made the commitment, Jenn. May they continue to be shining lights of leadership.

Aryna is the perfect athlete for XX-XY. She hits the ball even harder than the men. Women’s tennis is in great hands with her, Iga, Coco, Ons, and Rybakina.

I wish Martina Navratilova could get her friend Renee Richards, a man who "transitioned" and sued his way into women's competitions, to go public about his regrets. He's privately told a friend of mine, an eye patient of his, that he regrets the surgeries as well as the lawsuits that got him a place he shouldn't have been entitled to in women's sport.

Great story! Like you, I grew up following tennis closely, picked-up club tennis at 30 yrs old and weirdly met many top players across generations. I always rooted against Navratilova but marveled at her play and innate toughness, a champion in every respect. Because of your timely note, I will look forward to catching Sabalenka in the final.

Well you know I’ll be watching the match. I like both of them. Keys has truly shown grit in this tournament and Sabalenka is truly a champion. 2 years ago she had determination to overcome a terrible tossing motion and now she has succeeded to be the best in the world. She did it!
