Where are the fathers of these “girls”? Are they so cowered by their wives that they don’t have the cojones to say “NFW is my son running against a bunch of girls!” Honestly, what kind of “man” allows this?

Both Fathers & Mothers are failing their daughters. If the girls are too afraid to stand up to this insanity & say "no, I will not compete against a boy", the parents should be taking on that fight for them. All of these girl's Mothers are lacking that mamma bear instinct? All of the Fathers are lacking their natural instinct to be the protector of the family? I'll never understand it. If the boy wasn't refused participation in the event, then every girl should of refused...let the boy race alone

I'm afraid you're incorrect.

"The Washington Times" in an article entitled "Mass shooters-absent fathers link ignored by anti-gun activists":

"Peter Langman, an expert on the psychology of school shooters, compiled data that showed the vast majority came from households characterized by divorce and separation, abuse and neglect, alcoholism and drug addiction.

'Out of this sample of 56 school shooters, only 10 (18%) grew up in a stable home with both biological parents,' Mr. Langman wrote in a 2016 article. 'In other words, 82% of the sample either grew up in dysfunctional families or without their parents together (for at least part of their lives).'

Nikolas Cruz, the Parkland, Florida, shooter, fits the profile. He was given up for adoption at birth, and his adoptive father suffered a fatal heart attack when he was just 5 years old. Just a few months before the shooting, his adoptive mother died of pneumonia."

FACT CHECK TIME COMETH

1. Reading Peter Langerman's finding are inconclusive, here's why:

Peter Langerman only wrote information about biological fathers, not step fathers, Grandfather's or boyfriends living inside the home that have direct effects on raising those boys that became school mass shooters.

2. Also my information was previously fact-checked by Snopes which disproved the Washington Times report and SNOPES showed how Conservative News created incorrect information it propaganadized:

(The Snopes Information is linked in the article)

https://chicago.suntimes.com/2022/6/9/23160327/blaming-fatherlessness-mass-shootings-premature-jeffery-leving-op-ed

3. Just so you know, this article is far more recent than either of yours. This is 2021

https://www.michiganmedicine.org/health-lab/most-school-shooters-get-guns-home-and-more-weapons-are-there-pandemic.

🔥 In conclusion of this topic about the fault of fathers whether it's the bad/heinous behavior of mass school shootings or the behavior of trans Identifying Men/boys that corrupt and invade women's spaces fatherlessness is too often not the problem.

One last note:

Jeffrey Dahmer was raised in his household with his father and mother.

All information is open to interpretation. Every individual approaches an issue with a bias. Thus, the wisest response is to leave posts with citations and interpretations and allow readers to make up their own minds.

I saw the Snopes review. Snopes is compromised. Indeed, all "fact checkers" are compromised because they bring a POV, attitude, or bias to the matter. They are never neutral. Just as AI is not neutral but reflects the bias of its content creators. To believe in "fact checking" is to believe no bias exists within the fact checker...which is an incorrect supposition. People who believe in "fact checking" believe in fairy tales.

An interesting Forbes article appeared in 2016 about Snopes. The writer draws some apt conclusions concerning any fact checker although his interaction was solely with Snopes.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/kalevleetaru/2016/12/22/the-daily-mail-snopes-story-and-fact-checking-the-fact-checkers/

Green Med Info wrote a piece on Snopes when they smeared the investigative reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, after she reported on a vaccine-autism connection.

https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/why-snopes-gets-f-fact-checking

Centipede Nation brought the receipts on Snopes background and the funding which creates them. I think most Americans now understand, given the exposés of Twitter Files et al., that powerful monied groups create "news" and narratives and what "constitutes facts."

I feel sorry for this 12 year old boy and concur with Flippin’ Jersey as to the betrayal of him by his father. And mother. And school officials. And all adults involved. It’s blatantly unfair to the girls competing, of course, and needs to be stopped at once. I’m just wondering what happens in the boy’s life as he’s been celebrated at the advent of puberty for winning races as a girl. How incredibly confused he must be and will continue to be for years to come. At least the girls know their true identity and that they were cheated. The “winner” is being applauded for cheating. That’s a despicable form of cruelty.

I agree about the immorality. He’s 12-13 so I guess that is true that he is old enough to know what’s right. I look at these kids as abused by adults, though that may not be true, I guess. I do not understand the parents of these kids. How can you be in favor of your biological male sons competing against biological female daughters? I don’t get it. I understand wanting to support our children but I don’t think that support should be at a “price” for an innocent girl. Maybe for some (not me…but some) it seems unimportant in middle school, but then it moves to high school and college where scholarships come into play. As a therapist, I would add that middle school is equally important for different reasons. Adolescent girls are building their sense of value and worth and this situation is a slap in the face telling them they clearly don’t matter. It’s just wrong.
