It's truly heartbreaking what these fabulous young women are going through. This is nothing less than the disenfranchising of all women's basic rights. People must look past the political bullshit and see the huge injustice being inflicted on young female athletes. I've said it before and I will say it again. All spectators of women's sports should boycott ANY event in which trans people are allowed to compete against women. Hitting these franchises in the pocket book is the ONLY way that this crap will come to an end.

What is truly infuriating is how media covers up the hate of the tragressives. This alone would make people see they aren’t fighting for human rights. As media covers this up they are supporting misogynistic behaviour, they are teaching women we still don’t matter. It’s not only about sports, it’s about every gained human right for women being attacked as they don’t show the reality of what’s happening.

I agree. Their naked hatred is frightening. It verges on insanity and I suspect that it is.

I believe all hatred is rooted in fear. And if you fear people who will not hurt you then yes, it’s insane. But then again I’m not saying the republicans really have been fully understanding the issue so some fear might be sane. But most transgressives have been insane for almost a decade. Even before the first trump period.

Absolutely. I always felt the "Pride Parades" had nothing to do with gay rights. I knew people in the gay community who were just as appalled as we were at the obscenities in the "Pride Parades". It was their belief that they were going to lose much of the acceptance they had gained in the previous thirty years. I believe this was planned because the establishment cannot tolerate harmony. This appears to me to be much the same way that Zionists foment hatred and division not only by the hatred they cause amongst the people of Judaism but the people who begin to hate all Jews for the actions of the Zionists. The name of the game is hatred and division. Hatred is their mainstay as it has always been.

Agree. But I do believe that there’s this complicated mechanism too that when a society has thought of “dissident behaviours” as being such then there always will be some people that aren’t appalled by it but on the contrary are drawn to it. And I believe that’s why there started to be so much obscenities. I remember parades without it in my town, and how they started as a joke and not so extreme. I remember even that the feeling was so open and happy and benign that I thought that it was a good place to bring my future children, if I had them, to foster healthy tolerance and in a natural way tell them it was alright whoever they liked. But once I had kids, this feeling of the parades had already turned quite sinister. So we never went with them and we might never go. As many families around us did, the oldest thought we weren’t supporters of gay, lesbian and trans rights even though we’ve come across the issue in daily life and we were just natural about people having the right of loving and living as they wanted. So I had to explain why we never went which gave me the reason to talk about the darker parts of society. Because, honestly, I don’t see why “sex workers”, or extreme kink people need to be on the pride parade. As well as all companies making advertisement. I do understand why certain professions need to be there but not companies. So, sadly, the parade was a great way of telling the story of how society in the country we live (scandinavic) in has changed since I was young.

Thanks for this, Jennifer! And think about those girls who "came in second and third" when a boy finished the 400m seven seconds ahead of them in Oregon, and so many girls just qualifying for varsity sports and facing these discouraging experiences.

Question: how many of the various university officials that meted out the discipline against these heroic women were women? An exact number isn't necessary; a percentage will do.

I continue to be gobstruck by your ad campaigns and the courage of what you do and the voices of the women and girls. On one hand I am not surprised - after all, take on the female gladiators and the strongest of them and you will lose.

Behold our female gladiators and the lionesses 👏 🙇‍♀️. It’s what all women aspire to be and what good men love about women.

This is fantastic piece, and I have to offer the following to make the reading smoother. When you post a video or a photograph, put the descriptor UNDER the image rather than on top. I got confused because I knew what Riley Gaines looked like and it wasn’t that picture. Then put some extra space between the description and the next image. I literally lost my reading flow with this and I’m sure I can’t be the only one. I read about 40+ Substacks a day and the interrupted flow, while minor to most, was a big trip up for me. Now…I adore what you are doing, so keep up the fight as I’m totally with you. P.S. I’m a retired educator who still can’t help herself with graphic design gaffs. 😉

Question: Trans men are competing in the women’s categories. Will they suffer mental anguish/suicide ideology since they are not competing in the male categories?

Good job ladies. Speak your truth.

As a piece of general advice, I'd make the distinction between sex and gender. The notion of sex seems to be much more grounded than that of "gender." Gender, some say, is a "social construct."

Okay.

Sex, at least as far as I understand, is based on the more rigorous notion of XX or XY, not some social construct.

And to anyone who may criticize what I just said, to be sure, I think there is a place for the notion of gender, but when it comes to most post-puberty sports, it has long been recognized that there are anatomical differences between most born men and born women. I don't think all of these differences can be overcome by hormone therapies.

There is not “your truth.” There is the truth. Complete against people with the same chromosomes. The truth does not care how you feel.

Adult, want to live as a woman, I could care less. But the truth is you have XY chromosomes. So if you choose to compete, which you have every right to do so, compete against other XY chromosome people.
