Thanks for Brett and HIS mom at the end! BTW, how did he pull off that Oscar-worthy performance without consulting my ex-husband, the prototypical man who ideates a female persona, right down to pretending he went through labor. Glad you have fun at work~

This is not going to change until all of you stop voting for democrats. No more excuses. If you want

to put a male murderer or rapist into a woman's prison or allow male athletes into women's sports, you are not getting my vote no matter how much I dislike the other party. Then you need to let them know why you voted for their opponent. I'm sick and tired of excuses from "good" liberals who allow this crap to continue.

This will NEVER change until you

STOP. VOTING. DEMOCRAT.

I did stop voting for Dems, and Jennifer has been very open about her soul searching on this, and not voting for them.

I guess I understand in some small way why these girls went ahead & participated even knowing they were competing against a boy, but I would love to see each & every girl flat out refuse to compete. Let the tournament go on with one solitary person, the boy, let him compete alone. I believe then & only then will this madness stop. If schools & competitions have no athletes participating in their events other than one boy, then they have no sport, they have no teams, no athletic programs, eventually no funding for athletics, no merchandise, no fans or spectators, no scholarships, no need for uniforms or coaches, etc.

Only when these schools & organizations are in danger of losing everything, will they stop this insanity

So sad to see this repeating...Last year at the Oregon high school track and field state championships when a male won the girls' race the crowd overwhelmingly booed. It was awful the adults in charge allowed the male to run in the girls' category. I was there peacefully protesting, a very sad day for female athletes. :(

I truly don’t understand why this nonsense continues. I feel like I’m living in Insanityland, where 2+3 = 4, cows are all female, and horses are all male, (something I thought was true when I was under 5 years old),and cats are female and dogs are male (another thing I used to think was true, as a child, based on their perceived energy).

I thought same about cats and dogs! Until I turned 6.

In my native language, Dutch, the grammatical gender of the noun 'cat' is feminine and, you guessed it, 'dog' is masculine. A lot of people perceive these animals like you did.

This will be quite the story to impress his grandchildren. "Grandma, tells us again how you were a state champion". Oh, wait.....that's likely not going to happen.

Down right disgusting and totally amazed that these misguided people who run these tournaments even allow this to happen. How can they look themselves in the mirror and actually tell themselves they are doing the right thing?? I think the above comment wondering how these imposters tell their grandchildren how they bravely beat out real women and felt it was ok was brilliant! (Hopefully they won’t pass on their defective genes!)

That’s not fair to her!! There are qualifications and requirements to get a job, into the military, be the president, drive a car, etc, why is the person who beat her out not disqualified?!!! 😡😡😡

True, but shouldn't have even been allowed to enter the race. The number of errors is huge.

Ha! Great little video!

I bought a "Make Women's Sports XX Again" T-shirt from your company a few weeks ago just so I could parade around in it at my gym and in the neighborhood. In general, I'm not a T-shirt wearer, but this is too important.

“AB Hernandez, the male athlete who has been taking girls’ track and field in the state by storm, took first in two events — the long jump and triple jump — to qualify for States. The junior (aka rising senior) from Jurupa Valley High School also qualified in the high jump.”

I’m just curious as to why, here and in the headline, you don’t specify that he took first in the GIRLS’ long jump and triple jump. Of course we regular readers know what’s going on, and the rest of your article makes it clear, and the preamble to your sentence certainly points people to what’s wrong, but why not spell it out? Or is that your point — that we can’t really call them girls’ events anymore when boys compete in them?
